Rotary Scholarships

Five Pacific High School Seniors were awarded a total of $19,100 in college scholarships at the June 7, 2019 graduation ceremony.  The scholarships are funded by generous gifts from members of The Rotary Club of Port Orford and the support of the local community for the Rotary Club’s many fundraisers throughout the year.  Students, citizens, and Rotarians are to be commended for building a strong relationship that will support these young leaders as they take their rightful place in this community and in our country.

 

Recipients included Davyn Brown - Lois Miller Memorial Scholarship - $1,000.00, Justin Hogan – The Dick Wold Family and Friends Scholarship - $1,000.00 and The Rotary Club of Port Orford Scholarship - $1,500, Caitlyn Trenkle – The Rotary Club of Port Orford Scholarship - $2,600.00, Colton Morrill-Keeler – The Rotary Club of Port Orford Scholarship - $5,000.00, and Olivia Schmidt - Ben and Jean Corazza Memorial Scholarship - $1,600.00 and The Rotary Club of Port Orford Scholarship - $6,400.00.

 

Engineering:  Reinhardt Scholarship

 

The Reinhardt Scholarship is available to Pacific High School graduates, who are entering their Junior year of college, and are studying for an engineering degree.  July 15th of each year is the deadline for applications for this scholarship.
